What is LinkHunter?

LinkHunter was a straightforward DIY link building tool. It was built to help site owners find websites that might link to them, so they could build more backlinks and support their search rankings.

The team announced the shutdown on its own site. It explained that Google deprecated a search parameter its prospect discovery engine relied on, which cut the prospects it could find by about 90%. The team decided not to keep running a much weaker product.

LinkHunter pricing

LinkHunter no longer sells plans, so there are no current prices. If you want a link building tool today, compare the current options and look for ones with a free trial or a money-back guarantee.

How to use a LinkHunter coupon code

1. There is nothing to redeem: LinkHunter is closed and has no checkout.
2. If you still have an old account or receipt, contact LinkHunter support at the address on its closure notice.
3. Check back here: if the tool returns, we will post any new offers on this page.

More ways to save on link building

• Pick a replacement tool that offers a free trial, so you can test it on a real site first.
• Choose annual billing only after you have confirmed the tool fits your workflow.
• Do part of the outreach yourself. Backlink building is an ongoing task, and manual prospecting costs nothing but time.

Is LinkHunter worth it?

LinkHunter is no longer an option, because the service has closed. Backlink building is an ongoing task, so look for a tool that is actively maintained and fits the time you can give it each week.

Pros

• It focused on one job: finding backlink prospects
• It offered a simple do-it-yourself workflow

Cons

• The service has shut down
• Its prospect discovery depended on a search feature Google removed
